Classic light painting has been done for years - using a torch or sparkler to write or draw in the air by taking a long exposure picture. These are some examples I've done using more recently available technology - addressable LEDs. Using equipment I made myself I can create full colour images which appear to float in the air while still lighting the ground around them for the feel of a real object in the space.
If you'd like to commission a particular image in a particular location (I'm based in Edinburgh, Scotland) then get in touch to see if it can be arranged. I work with a local professional photographer who is responsible for all the best images shown here.
